You Say That I’ve Been Changing
Hey there guys! Well, it’s certainly been a while since I let you guys know what I’ve been up to! Truth is, life has been pretty up and down since around August this year. Lots of personal things going on, and some incredible professional things. Exciting things, upsetting things, new things, lots of things!
As most of you know, I also write for Previous Magazine, which you can find over on Previousmagazine.com, a lot of exciting things have been happening involving Previous! It’s came such a long way since I made the press release early this year about us launching. It’s became something that none of us could have predicted, and I couldn’t be any prouder! In October this year, Previous helped me complete one of my life goals which was to interview someone that inspired me. And boy, did I! I got the chance to interview the incredibly talented and lovely Brendan B. Brown of Wheatus. You can check it out here. I’ll be forever thankful to both Previous and BBB for that chance, because not only did it complete one of my life long goals, but it also confirmed that journalism is something I want to do full time.
Don’t Lose Your Grip has also been super busy behind the scenes. 2012 has a lot of exciting things planned for DLYG, including a new website and new projects for you guys to get involved in! The support that we have gained since February this year has been absolutely incredible, and I’ll never be able to thank you all enough for it. We’ve got the chance to change and save lives, and none of it would be possible without the support you have all given us since day one.
Right now over on DLYG, we’re running a project from now until Dec 31st. The project is called ‘Reasons To Smile’ and it’s basically what it says in the name. We want to hear from you about the things that are making you smile. You can tell us in whichever way you want to. I’ve listed a few ideas for you below:
-You can Tweet us your Reason To Smile @dontloseurgrip and hashtag #reasonstosmile.
- You can send us a photo of your #reasonstosmile in the same way you did for You Are Not Alone; Take a photo of you holding a sign with your reason to smile, or of course you could also send us a photo of your reason to smile!
- You can update your Facebook status with your reason to smile and tag us in it. If you haven’t already liked DLYG on Facebook, you can do so here.
There’s also going to be lots of changes taking place here on Chrisselle.com while we create the new site for you guys, which hopefully you’ll all love as much as I do!
